The end for the Alabasta Arc was pretty darn good. Of course, the last fight between Luffy and Cocodrile was incredibly satisfying, but I'm talking about the goodbye between the Straw Hats and Vivi. Even though they left, she is still part of the crew, and I'm sure they'll meet each other again.
It's pretty good how Oda introduced the bandages on each of their arms, at the start of the arc. It's job was to serve as a means to recognize each other, but as it turned out, Oda had created this small thing, for the last scene. A silent goodbye, since there was no need for words, only their arm pointing to the heavens. A strong friendship was made between a princess and a group of pirates, with a promise to last a lifetime...
